MCA #1- early Tuesday morning
Rey hated this week normally, but she'd always gotten through it okay.
Post-discovering Force powers, Rey loathed it and also kind of every one of you, too.
She was trying to work through it, she really was. Today, for instance, started with a cold shower and was followed up by trying out some of the meditation techniques she had been reading about. It felt impossible to actually clear her head for long enough to do any good, though. She was very good at connecting to the Force, but had no idea how to block it out, and right now, that sucked.
She'd given up and was thinking about going for a very long walk before meeting up for yoga when a call came through on her holoprojector. No matter what she was dreading answering it, but she answered it without saying hello and saw the miniature figure of Poe giving her a little wave. "Hey, Rey. I wanted to talk to you abou-"
And without even needing to think about it, she said, "Nope," and ended the transmission, because the last thing she needed this week was Poe Dameron's stupid perfect handsome face in her head at all.
...She'd figure out how to explain that reaction some other time.
