Unlike some people who might have gone overboard last night, Rey was doing fine this morning. Maybe a little headachey, but nothing she couldn't handle, which was good because as promised, Tenel Ka had set them up with these training resources and they were not what Rey had expected.

Somehow the fact that this super regal queen had also been raised in a matriarchal warrior society had not come up until now?

But at least there was some time to chill out afterwards, even if Rey felt like maybe she wasn't going to move from this spot on the mat for a while.

"So," Anakin said with a tired chuckle, running his fingers through Juliet's curls where she'd passed out in his lap, "my course isn't really so tough."

"It's tough," Rey stated. "But this is different."

She also wasn't super aware of all the attempts on everybody's lives over here, or she might have expected this.

"Hapes Cluster has a very, very long history of assassinations," Anakin said, "if that explains some things."

"Hopefully not that Tenel Ka was trying to kill us," Rey said, only half joking.

"If she was, you'd know it," Anakin said with a smile. "She's pretty straightforward."

"So I've learned," Rey said with a nod.

"Did you have fun last night?"

Anakin always forgot about the titles that the people he knew had, which was probably why he'd taken a shot with a queen of an entire planet.

"I did," Rey said, but admitted, "It was intimidating for a while."

[sith_happened]

"But then there was wine," Anakin teased.

[thatwaslucky]

"I wasn't that bad," Rey smiled. "I think I mostly relaxed once Jaina started standing up every time she had a point to make."

Anakin laughed. "I forget that she does that."

[thatwaslucky]

"That's normal?" Rey asked.

[sith_happened]

"For Jaina when she gets excited," Anakin said, grinning.

[solo_sword]

"Okay," Jaina said, taking a seat on the floor to stretch out a bit. "No more wine nights before that."

Anakin laughed. "Too much fun last night?" he teased.

[solo_sword]

"I had the right amount of fun and maybe half a bottle too much," Jaina corrected.

You know what empresses apparently didn't get to do much? That.

Anakin grinned. "I'm glad to hear it. Your boys were fun to watch."

[solo_sword]

Jaina eyed him suspiciously.

Anakin grinned. "There might've been some pre-emptive levitation to determine who was in charge. And then I showed them my shrink ray."

[solo_sword]

"I'm sorry, your what ray?"

She was so concerned right now, Anakin.

[sith_happened]

"Shrink ray," Anakin repeated like he was a person who should have access to a shrink ray. "I used it for the Wednesday team building in the park."

[solo_sword]

"Everyone did stay their correct size here, right?" Jaina checked.

[sith_happened]

"They did," Anakin confirmed with a chuckle.

[solo_sword]

"They don't have miniature versions of any shrink rays, do they?"

"They do not," Anakin said, "but I can see why you'd worry."
