Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey skipped the course today, starting off by running through some forms with her lightsaber. It had been a while, and she didn't want to get rusty, and also it was a good way to keep her focused.

So, just a quiet day doing normal training. After a big weekend and a week where definitely nothing abnormal happened on a weird day. All good.

Anakin came in, grumbling and covered in paint. And sand.

"How was paintball?" Rey asked innocently, not breaking the motion.

[sith_happened]

"Not wonderful," Anakin sulked.

[thatwaslucky]

"Are you getting them back next week?" Rey assumed.

[sith_happened]

"Oh, definitely," Anakin said with probably entirely too much enthusiasm.

[thatwaslucky]

"All right," Rey said, shutting down her lightsaber for the moment. "Do you want to talk about it?"

[sith_happened]

"Not really," Anakin admitted. "There was sand and a giant ball to run in and Stark got the jump on me almost immediately."

[thatwaslucky]

"A giant ball to run in?" Rey frowned.

[sith_happened]

Anakin nodded. "Big metal cage...ball."

[thatwaslucky]

"While shooting at things?"

She was starting to become worried about future plans for the warehouse/shenanigans.

Anakin nodded. "Some of them were quite adept."

He would've been if he hadn't the entire setup complaining about sand.

That actually sounded really impressive, and Rey wasn't going to say that right now.

"You'll get them next time."

[sith_happened]

"I will," he declared. "It's the nice part about a class that lasts over weeks. I'm learning everyone's strengths and weaknesses."

And targeting Stark.

"At least no one can say you don't take your studies seriously," Rey teased.

[sith_happened]

Anakin grinned. "I like being focused."

Others might even say obsessed!

"Yes, I had noticed," Rey said. "What with learning their weaknesses and all..."

[sith_happened]

"It's just good strategy!"

[thatwaslucky]

"I'm only judging a little," Rey joked.

[sith_happened]

"You should sign up next time," Anakin said, grinning.

[thatwaslucky]

"Maybe," she said, smiling. "I usually don't do the classes, so I'm not trying to work around them when I have to go home."

[sith_happened]

"That makes sense," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"I could manage a Friday," she said. "Since I try to time trips around training anyway."

[sith_happened]

Anakin looked touched. "Just to see me?" he said teasingly.

[thatwaslucky]

"Well, yes," Rey smiled. "Training is why I'm here, after all. The time difference makes it easier to work around."

[sith_happened]

Anakin grinned back. "What would you like to train on today?"
