Outside MHA and around town- Saturday morning
Rey was by nature a problem-solver. She got into a situation, she figured a way to fix it, a lot of the time on the fly as the problem popped up.
The fact that she still had no idea how to find Silver was kind of killing her, and it wasn't exactly something she could relax about for a minute. She needed to be trying something, so she was fully planning on spending her day patrolling town and seeing if she stumbled upon something. She fired off a quick text to Annie since having people go missing meant having backup would be smart, and made sure to be walking by her building when she thought the text might be received.
[For Annie and all the SP!]

This was, of course, much more important than training today.
"You haven't heard or found anything yet?" she asked, clearly worried as she approached. (Like, obviously not, but she had to ask.)

Not that she thought he would have taken off without telling Rey, but she was just kind of working through possibilities.

And didn't want to go back there from what he said.

Though, again, she really doubted he would have gone anywhere voluntarily without at least telling Rey, but that was -- grim.
"Okay, I'm assuming you've looked everywhere obvious," she said, thinking through it. "Have you tried down by the water?" Because pirate? Maybe?

Right? She kind of stuck to her own circuits in town for the most part, but Rey had been canvassing, and people generally were pretty observant around here.

That was a new sentence.

"...That hadn't occurred to me," she admitted.

Again, not a thing she had said before.

And it was annoying as hell.

Neither was a great option.

Annie would like to think that she'd be able to keep a cool head if Diego disappeared like this, but she knew she'd at least internally be absolutely losing her shit.

But there really wasn't enough to go on, beyond 'moving holes, I guess?'
Annie almost suggested they order donuts from that new place while they looked around, just as a cheerful little distraction, but thought better of it. Not the time. "I almost wish there were monsters or something for us to fight. This is -- harder."

They usually started on Friday or Saturday, sure, but -- maybe?
(Though maybe the fire station been missing longer than that?)

And that had at least ended up with everyone seemingly safe but with a great story to tell?

unless it happens in SP."no subject
It was a squirrel, which scurried off in the other direction.
Annie was maybe a little jumpy about the idea of there being monsters (which she maintained would be easier to deal with) and these migrating holes.

Prepared to blast a squirrel.

At this rate, if there weren't monsters, Annie was going to be kind of disappointed.
no subject
She really did.
