Blackwood Grove- Monday afternoon

Unsurprisingly, Rey loved having the girls around. It was one of the rare weekends like this that wasn't weird or kind of traumatic. Instead, it was just nice. There would definutely be things to think about, and the timing was definitely awkward for when they were supposed to go to Beltane, but... nice.

Also Hanna could maybe be a little more forthcoming about some of the Jedi stuff in her universe but whatever.

And knowing that their time together was coming to an end, that felt like a good excuse to sugar them up on cookies before send them off. Sorry, AU future Reys and Adrians.

"How many chocolate chips should they have?" Rey asked, kind of knowing the answer.

"All of them?" Adrian repeated, feigning shock. "But surely that would be too many chips!"

"Dad," Hannah said patiently. "There's no such thing."

"I dunno, Hanna," Adrian said. "I think it'd be more chip than cookie, really. I'd worry about the structural integrity of our baked goods!"

The quickness with which she said that. She wanted those chips.
