MCA Holosuite room- Monday evening

Rey got back from her trip home a little later than intended but in a much better mood than she'd been in last week. So once she'd gotten unpacked, she headed downstairs to the holosuite to program the broken, broken room. She even went early, hoping to maybe fix some things.

The adirondack chairs that had come up were definitely an improvement on last time, but try as she might, Rey couldn't program the movie away from being a terrible pirate movie sequel.

Yes, this was an improvement from the bean bag chairs. Silver might actually be able to get out of these without assistance.

He knew he was in trouble the second he saw the title of the movie come up. "I'm going to hate this, aren't I?"

"It could be that, or it could be the simple pleasure of watching the taut muscles or our lovely companion at work!" It was both. He was multi-tasking.

Silver laughed. "Well at least you're honest about it. However it might make her a little self-conscious to know that was why you were watching."

"I would never wish her discomfort! I am simply appreciative!" And writing poems about her prowess at carrying a drunken sailor.

"Lets hope she sees it the same way," he said. "Some of us have trouble processing compliments."

And by compliments he was referring to being eye fucked by a bard.

"Is this not historically accurate?" Rey asked, only half joking.

They didn't even have his kind of pirates where she came from.

"There's a distinct lack of ghost pirates where I'm from." Or whatever it is Javier Bardem was supposed to be.

"Which seems like a plus, at least," she said.

Just wait until you were watching a Space Battles prequel, Rey.

"And I don't even know what is up with the guy spewing black stuff," he said. "We're a gross sort of people but not that gross."

"I'd hope not. I think that alone would get me to quit the profession," Rey said.

"If there was enough money in it I wouldn't necessarily quit," he said. "But I would make sure I was not sleeping anywhere near that guy."

"The area away from that guy would probably get very crowded," she said.

"You'd be surprised," Silver said. "I know a few men who might think it's a charming trait."

"Well, it's a step up from a murderous fence for certain," Jaskier said, tilting his head at the scene.

"And the music is better," Rey said, helpfully.

"It's rather stirring and orchestral, isnt it?" Now he had to find more music like this.

"I'm just glad I finally found something to like about one of these," she said.

"Rather than worry about the intelligence of the characters?" Oh, there'd be time for that too.

"Oh, I'm sure I'll still do that," Rey said. "I'm fairly certain movie plots don't happen without someone doing something incredibly stupid."

"That also tends to be merely human nature," Jaskier said, sprawling out to get comfortable.

"Mm, I've never met anyone I've seen make that bad decisions."
