MCA's Holosuite Room- Monday evening

It was time for another movie night, and Rey was determined to make the room cooperate today. And while the room didn't exactly cooperate, she had to admit that tonight's living room setting was better than the theater setting she'd been trying for if there was going to be food.

And sure, maybe inspirational sports movies might be lost on these three, but at least no one was being murdered by a fence.

Overall, she'd take it.

It was safe to say Silver would find nothing inspirational about this movie, but at least it wasn't pirates again. And, hey, lots of food. That made up for him not understanding a thing about hockey.

"Well this looks comfortable." At least it wasn't bean bag chairs again.

"Apparently it's what living rooms are supposed to look like," Rey said.

Hers did not! As he'd seen.

"I definitely need more furniture in mine then." And a rug. And a table to put his TV on. And any decor at all.

"I still have most of a room full of random things from the week those animal things were mere, should you ever want to look through it," she offered.

There was probably a lot of rattan.

"I might have to take you up on that," he said. "I've been here long enough that I should make the place feel like a home. I think at this point it's safe to say I'm not getting home."

"You think so?" Not that she didn't like having him around, but that could be tough.

"There doesn't seem to be any evidence to suggest otherwise," Silver said. "Might be for the best; I'm not exactly sure how I'd reconcile being there after being here."

"It does sound like getting culture shock both coming and going," she said. "Are you okay with it?"

Silver shrugged a shoulder. "It is what it is, whether I'm okay with it or not. Might as well go along with it rather than dwell on what could be."

"I brought food!" Jaskier was very proud of his accomplishment of ordering takeout.

"I can see that," Silver said. "Did you mean to order the entire restaurant?"

"I only ordered one thing on Rey's advice and they just added more." Scamming the system, aw yeah.

"Oh, well that was some good luck then," Silver said. "I certainly won't complain; it smells amazing."

But he ate just about anything that he hadn't cooked himself.

"Next time we'll test it on a different restaurant." Surely one would catch on, right?

"I approve of this idea." Oh yes, lets engage in take out piracy. "And if we like a place I'll go in to pick up the next order since they don't know my face."

"An excellent plan!" Why were they allowed to plant anything? Seriously now.

“And if we want to go a third time...it might take some convincing to get Rey to do it.” Was it really stealing if the restaurant didn’t catch their mistake?

Jaskier arrived with an inordinate amount of food in white, plastic bags. "A little help?"

Rey jumped to her feet to take some of the bags from him. "All right, this really is a lot."

"I only ordered one thing," he announced proudly, now that his arms were freer to move again.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey actually stopped, blinked, and said, "Wow."

And then she looked down at the bags in her hands like she didn't understand even though she'd told him this would happen.

"We should try the other places next." They'd end up rotund!

"You may be jumping ahead just a bit," she said, going to set things down on the table. "Like by two weeks."

"There's no harm in planning ahead."

Oh, he'd have forgotten about this plan in a week.

He was still going to be committed to it, though, because he'd told Rey about it.

"Then do you have any thoughts about what to do next?" she asked, trying to make sense of what was in the containers.
