Look how not pink and fluffy Rey was! She was really enjoying the last few days with nothing weird happening, (and without puffy sleeves that got in the way whenever she moved), and movie night was a nice normal thing.

As long as the room cooperated.

Which, it looked like it was! They had a normal sofa to sit on today, and the movie... well, they were back to Hallmark. Christmas Hallmark.

"It's November 2," she said.

And there was a fully clothed Silver. Which was a disappointment, really.

"What is the room making us watch now?"

At least he was still pretty.

"It appears to be a Christmas movie about cat owners," Rey told him. "I might be spoiling it but I assume they'll find love."

Silver chuckled, sitting down on the couch. "They really do have a movie for every sort of person, don't they?"

"Apparently. Which means one of these days I might find my genre," she said, taking a seat next to him. Maybe a little closer than normal.

Silver was not going to complain about that. He shifted slightly like he was making himself comfortable and if that meant that he ended up with his leg pressed against Rey's so be it.

"I don't believe I've found my genre yet either," he said. "Though the murder fence came close."

If just anyone did that Rey would move out of their way, and in this case she might just stay right there for the whole night.

"I'm still amazed by that," she admitted, smiling.

"It's just so ridiculous," he said. "I kind of want to meet the person who came up with it."

"And what would you ask them?" Rey said.

"I'd probably ask what drugs they were taking when they came up with the idea." That was the only explanation for it.

"Survived the party, I see!" Jaskier had safely hidden once shit popped off.

"I think other people had it worse that I did," Silver said. "How did you fare?"

"I managed to film some of what happened on my phone." Half of it was the ceiling or floor, honestly.

"That's kind of evil and brilliant," Silver said. "Mostly brilliant."

"It was for posterity!" Well. "And a bat flew into someone's hair, so that seemed interesting."

“That would be a nightmare for me.” He had voiced the fear to Rey once, even.

"At least you had a hat to protect yourself." Jaskier's hat. The best hat.

"You're right, I did," Silver said. "And you had one too. Lucky us."

Seriously. Silver would have freaked out if a bat got in his hair.

"No candy?" Look, he'd been on spoiled.

"I might still have some from the day there were bowls of it upstairs?" Rey offered.

She was of course hoarding it for use over the next year.

"Or we try a new takeout order." Yes, they clearly needed to try sushi.

"I'm even better with that," Rey said. "What are you thinking?"

"Well, it looks like this sushi was next on the list." No clue what that was!

"Sounds good. I'm not exactly sure what kinds there are, but that doesn't stop me."

Food was food, unless it was black licorice.

What about wasabi? They might be traumatized by wasabi.

"If we don't like it, it can be crossed off our list."

Okay yes wasabi might cause some problems.

"Should we just order at random and see what we get?" It wasn't like she knew what any of it was, and she might take issue with tobiko on principle if she did.
