MCA's holosuite room- Monday evening

Rey was so happy to be herself today! Honestly she still would have gone to movie night as a pony but she was relieved she didn't have to!

She was in a great mood when she got down there, and the room actually seemed to be cooperating today, giving them an actual fluffy sofa and a movie she'd heard was actually good. Even she knew this meant next time was probably going to be a horror show of seating and entertainment but that was a problem for later.

Silver was happy that Rey was normal again as well. For one thing, it would be weird to date a pony for much longer. For two, it had been like two days since kissing happened and that was just sad.

"I am so glad you're a person again."

"Me too," Rey said, grinning. "I can stand upright, and hold things..."

She could see how close she could get to him without making it weird in public...

Would putting his arm around her shoulder after he sat down on the couch make things weird in public? Too bad he was doing it anyway.

"I bet you'll never take your thumbs for granted again."

She was fine with that, and she'd missed that, and she was even taking that as a sign to move closer.

"I opened and closed some doors a few times just because I could," she admitted.

"You probably weren't the only person to do that today," Silver said. "You will have to tell me how accurate this movie is, since apparently it's in space."

"So far very little of this is familiar to me," Rey told him. "I'm still slightly new to space travel but I haven't heard of anything like they're doing."

"So you all don't sleep in your underwear in little pod things?" Silver joked.

"Did anyone else get stuck on their apartment due to not having hands?" Because guess what happened to him.

"In beds, in cabins, and I don't judge what anyone decides to sleep in," Rey said lightly. "Unless the Falcon is crowded and then I'll usually sleep in the cockpit."

"I figured out doors," Rey said. "You could have call- oh."

No, he couldn't have, probably.

"Better than what I had on the Walrus," he said. "I had to sleep in a hammock."

"Is that bad? I thought people relaxed in those," Rey said.

"If it was smooth sailing it wasn't bad," Silver said. "But during a storm a lot of people were falling out of them."

"Or if you were drunk." Which happened most nights.

"All right, that's a no on hammocks," Rey said. "Dumped on the floor might actually be the worst way to wake up."

"Says the person that woke up as a horse."

"A person who woke up as a horse who wasn't on the floor," Rey pointed out. "Which was interesting in itself."

"I did not have that problem." He was one of the few and he was very happy about it.

"Interesting is a word for it," he said, chuckling. "Have I mentioned how happy I am that you're not a horse anymore?"

He had. A couple times.

"That does sound familiar," Rey smiled. "Were you not looking forward to dating a pony?"

"I'm not sure I was ready for a human-equine romance," he joked.

[thatwaslucky]

"That is actually a relief," Rey laughed. "It's much too early for us to be turning into things yet."

Because of all the kissing they were missing out on.

"That did throw things off, didn't it?" he said. "We're going to have to make up for lost time."

"We will be going up to the same floor after this," she said. That whole neighbor thing was very convenient.

Silver pretended to look surprised. "That's right, we are. I guess that solves that problem. As long as you'll have me, of course."

"Of course," she smiled. "I kind of like having you around."
