MCA Holosuite Room- Monday evening

Back to town, back to normal routines.

Rey arrived at the holosuite room a little early because frankly, she did not trust it. It'd been a while, and she fully expected to get something terrible. The galaxy's most uncomfortable seating plus a movie so terrible they tried to turn it off but couldn't, or something.

Instead they got a very comfortable sectional sofa and a heist movie.

"I still don't trust it," Rey said, making herself comfortable.

"Maybe the room had a vacation too," Silver said, flopping down on the sofa. "And it's relaxed enough to work for once."

"So what happens in two weeks, then?" Rey asked.

"Something terrible, I'm sure," he said with a smile. "So best enjoy this now."

"Somehow I knew you were going to say that," she said, scooting a little closer to him. "And we could always get lucky."

"We could," he agreed, putting an arm around her. "Doubtful, but we could."

"You and your optimism," she teased, leaning in against him.

"I am what I am," he joked. "Besides, this room does have an unsavory reputation."

"It does. I remember the cats abd killer fences."

Yes, she knew he liked the fence movie.

"Killer fences wasn't that bad." He would stand by this opinion.

"Did you have fun on your vacation?" Jaskier had to ask after a nice, quiet week on the island.

Not a murder drone in sight.

"It was good," Rey said, smiling. It was good aside from her personal crisis, anyway, but she'd kept that under wraps till the end of the week. "A lot of traveling. How we're things here?"

"Quiet, other than the squirrels assaulting me for radio." Which was perfectly normal.

"So just a normal week," she said. "The quiet during these weeks always bothered me."

"Really?" Jaskier asked, taking advantage if the comfortable couch for a change. "It was rather relaxing to not worry if candy would topple out of a cabinet onto me."

"That part was nice, but I always missed having people around," she said.

"Yes, I can see that being an issue," he had to admit. "But I got quite a bit of writing done."

"What did you write about?" Rey wondered.

[ohvalleyofpenis]

"Oh, our time helping your people moving, of course." Stirring, orchestral ballads of hope.

"It was interesting," Silver said. "But relaxing. There were a ton of spas around."

"Did you indulge in them all?"

[long_memory]

"Yes, a few times," he said. "It was very relaxing."

"Now the real question is did you bring any music back for me." Yeah, get him hooked on JPop. That was a good idea.

"I wasn't aware I was supposed to." Silver wouldn't be the greatest person to get music from anyway. Unless you wanted an opinion on sea shanties, but even then you could go to TikTok.

"Well, it would be nice. Though I'm sure I could find it on Spotify."
