The best Rey had been able to do with the seating was a park bench today. That was maybe okay, she'd gone back to her apartment to get some cushions, maybe that wouldn't be too terrible for a couple hours, and maybe the movie would be worth it.

And it would, but she was also going to spend her first viewing of the original Space Battles movie going, "This feels like a ripoff."

"Oh, but the music is so lovely!" Of course he'd focus on that.

"It is that," Rey agreed. "And it does look really good..."

"Stirring visuals," he agreed. "Bit bland in the story telling."

"I don't know if I'd call it bland..." she said.

"It looks to be the classic hero's journey," Jaskier replied. "Which is all well and good, but they could add a little spice to it."

Maybe try making a trilogy without a set plan. Or strong editor.

"How would you change it?"

"Maybe add a plucky sidekick or a love story." He was going to be just heartbroken at the sibling reveal.

But unsurprised. Royalty and all.

"I'm sure there's a love story, at least." Maybe not in this movie...

"I should hope so!"

"It's very dramatic." Which was why Jaskier probably liked it.

"Isn't it?"

"I'm not sure opening credits deserve such a fanfare," he said.

"Well, perhaps we missed some,movies before this?" Yes, go watch those prequels.

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

"It can't possibly be too complicated," he said. "There's a lot of shooting involved right off the bat, that speaks to a certain audience."

Namely him.

"That's fair. Though I hope we'll get some more backstory on that."

"Who needs backstory when there's explosions?" he asked.

"You wound me as a storyteller, sir," Jaskier said with a very exaggerated sad look.

Silver didn't really mind the park bench seating too much. Then again, he could take a lot of discomfort.

"This looks fun."

"Which part?" Rey asked.

[long_memory]

"Well the whole epic story at the beginning there suggests fun," he said. "Though I'm not really accustomed to reading movies."

"I think it's only just the first part," she said. "Also the credits."

He smiled. "Well thank god for that. I might miss half the plot otherwise."

It took some training to read and watch what was going on at the same time. He'd get to foreign movies later.

"I think you can catch up pretty fast. It's action, there's not a lot going on plotwise."

"That's a fair point," he said. "Is...is this a movie from your universe?"

Because some of the aesthetics looked familiar, he was just saying.

"No, but it looks a little like it could take place there," Rey said. "Very different desert, though."
