MCA #1- Friday after the finale

Rey was looking a little worse for wear by the time she got back to her apartment, but it wasn't anything serious. She was used to taking care of injuries herself, and aside from the area above her ankle she was favoring thanks to having a rough time with some thorny vines, she wouldn't even call it that.

It didn't look great, though, so she was already in her bathroom to clean herself up before she texted Silver to let him know where she was and that she was okay. And then she ditched her newly tattered pants- which she was telling herself she could replace instead of mending- to hop up onto the counter and start treating the cuts with the medkit next to her.

Just another Friday in Fandom.

Silver went across the hall as soon as he got Rey's text. He could tell they won, obviously, just by looking out the window, but he still needed to see her for himself.

"Rey?" he called as he stepped into the apartment.

"In the fresher," she called, and hopefully he'd learned Star Wars phrasing by now.

Yeah, you go to space a couple of times and you learned quick what that meant.

He walked into the bathroom, immediately frowning when he saw what Rey was doing. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. There were thorns," Rey explained. "Nothing too serious."

"It looks like it hurts," he said, moving closer. "Normally I'm a fan of you not wearing pants, but..."

"Some of it hurts," Rey admitted. The ankle for instance actually had some decently deep scratches. "I'm not looking forward to getting into a shower."

"Is there anything I can do?" he asked quietly, reaching out to lightly touch her leg.

"I don't know if you want to help with my leg," she said, since that would take her a bit of twisting to be able to get to it.

"I don't have a great history with leg wounds, this is true," he said lightly, giving her a smile.

"This is much easier, I promise," Rey told him. "Barca will take care of this by the end of the weekend."

"That is a neat little trick," he had to admit. It was very unfortunate his leg incident happened 300 years ago. "I'm glad you weren't hurt worse."

"Me too," she said, shifting to try and tuck her leg behind her on the counter so she could get to that spot better, which was not comfortable especially with multiple cuts. "The important thing is it's over."

"I suppose so." He wasn't especially pleased that this ended with her hurt, but at least it was over. "Why don't you go lie on the bed and I can finish that for you. It'll involve less contorting."

"Are you sure?" Rey asked, even as she uncurled from that position.

"Of course," he said. "Let me be of some use during this whole thing."

"Okay," she said, carefully hopping off of the counter onto one leg before setting the other down. "I've never had anyone around to help with this before."

"You do now," he said, grabbing the medkit. "Do you need to hold on to me to walk?"

"No, but I wouldn't mind holding onto you anyway," she smiled.

"Okay, we'll pretend you need the help," he joked, holding out his arm. "Or you can be helping me."

"Does it work if we're helping each other?" she teased, slipping her arm through his.

"That works," he said, leading towards the bedroom. "So, did you get to do anything really impressive during the fight?"

"That depends on what you think is impressive," she said. She wasn't limping, but she was stepping lightly. "The castle was filled with sentient vines. Master Skywalker and I ended up clearing some rooms of them."

"That sounds impressive to me." He led her to the bed and sat the medkit down on it. "Lie down."

"Yes, sir," she said, laying down and making sure he had room to work.

Silver laughed lightly. "I don't have to do any major surgery here, correct?"
