Blackwood Grove- Saturday morning
So, that had been a good week.
Rey could tell immediately upon waking up that the pollen was gone. That halfway buzzing feeling was gone, and she was relieved but also a little sorry about it, even if they didn't exactly need it.
And despite all the closeness this week, she snuggled a little closer to Adrian, because even if she was awake and actually a little hungry, she didn't want to be apart yet. Sure, there were things that she'd needed to do that had gone wholly ignored and she should get to them, but it wasn't like real life was going anywhere.
She'd also historically not had a reason to automatically remember what this weekend tended to be, but it should register in a bit.

Adrian exchanged a glance with Rey. This was an very illuminating conversation, though unfortunately, he had no idea what to make of it.

"You have an Auntie Namesake?"
She also didn't think she'd ever heard about princes, so.

Maybe someone living in an off-shoot Grove...?
"How about you, Hanna? Named for anybody in particular?"

"Aww, no fair!" Becks protested. "Nobody let Boston name me!"
no subject
At least, she was pretty sure, and she hoped Boston went with her on this.

"There is no way Adrian and Rey would name you without consulting me first," he informed her, with an imperious tail flick. "So your name was so good that I didn't need to suggest Catherine for it. I'm sure this 'Auntie Namesake' is someone important enough to warrant her inclusion."
"Oh well yeah," Becks said. "She's the Queen of Demons!"
Fortunately, Boston was a cat, so his nonplussed expression was hard to parse, especially for a kit as young as these two. "Just so," he agreed.

She maybe hadn't known what a namesake was.
"Yeah, yours is cool," she allowed.

Maybe he should start taking notes.
"First batch of waffles are up!" he called, bringing over a piping hot pile of star-shaped waffles, along with plenty of homemade whipped cream and a large bowl of macerated strawberries. "But only going to be served to people who are sitting at the table!"

And then she looked pointedly at Rey, who slowly took a seat, very amused.
"Ready!" Hanna said.

Probably too much, maybe they could start with like, two?

"I can do it, though!" Becks insisted. "Just like Uncle Iggs!" She turned to Hanna. "How many do you think you can eat?"
no subject
She did not.

"We're all going to start with two," Adrian announced. "Otherwise I'm not going to get any. If--er, I mean, when you finish your first two, you can have more."

Adrian groaned. "Even you two know that story?"
