MCA's holosuite Room- Wednesday evening

Rey had lived here nearly a year and had never really considered the holosuite room on the main floor. She'd just never needed it. At least until today, when there was supposed to be a ~~badly needed even if everything was totally fine shut up~~ movie night and none of the participants had the equipment needed to actually have one.

Programming the room into a theater was easy enough, though when it came to actually picking a movie., it seemed to be stuck on Lifetime. This was probably fine?

Those cruel people behind the computer screens...

"I'll endeavor to purchase a very warm coat for the winter then." Because being shoved into a tauntaun was less than likely to happen.

"I should do that. All I actually have is something I got on base last year." Because again, tiny little Rey in guys' coats that were too big for her was great. "Or maybe the trees will grow coats for winter."

Awwww. Now Jaskier would love that aesthetic too!

"What now?"

"Like the swimsuits on trees this summer?" Rey said.

You know, the thing that saved her when all the clothes disappeared.

"Oh, I ended up wearing a sheet by that point," he admitted.

"I did too, but over the suit," she said. Girl was modest as all get out.

Oh, bless.

"Well, we can only hope it will be jackets and not swimsuits again in that case." The island couldn't be that cruel, right?

Rey paused, considering whether she thought the island was that mean.

It was a long pause.

"You have been considering that too long for it to be good," Jaskier informed her.

"I've been here too long to put anything last this place," Rey explained.

Jaskier sighed and offered her the bottle of rosé for a classy sip. "At least we are all in it together."

She took the bottle for that sup, and asked, "Should I get cups?"

"It would make this far classier, but I don't have any." He lived off of takeout, honestly.

Someone find some red solo cups to make it immediately less classy than drinking straight out of the bottle.

"I have some upstairs."

And of course they were red Solo cups, because of the brand name.

Better than being sponsored by Bing at least.

"I can use the time to order us food," he said like the fact that all this alcohol needed some food to soak it up just hit him.

"All right, I'll be back in a minute," she said, turning to head upstairs.

She wanted pizza, right? Because Jaskier had learned the tricks so many students at the dorms learned in ordering one small thing to get an ungodly amount delivered.

They were all going to get scurvy at this rate.

"Oh, she can do better than him," he said once he noticed the movie.

Rey returned a few moments later, bag of red cups in hand. "Did I miss anything?"

"She's torn between loves," he said, already flopped onto the couch to watch this how god intended.

"That does sound like a problem, yes," Rey nodded, handing him a cup.

"She should go with the flashy businessman with the heart of gold," he confided, taking the cup. "Thank you."

"What's the other option?" she asked.

"Essentially the same man only lacking the heart of gold. I'm admittedly having some difficulty telling them apart." Oh, Lifetime.

"They both look alike," she noticed.

Or maybe they were both too bland to tell?

"I think one has blue eyes and the other green?" Might have been the lighting, though.
