MCA #1- Friday night, and probably later

This was really Annie and Summer's party, that just so happened to take place in Rey's stupidly giant apartment. Still, even while she'd been told a lot of people might be coming, Rey was a little concerned no one actually would, and then she'd have to figure out what to do with just... a ridiculous amount of alcohol and so many inflatable reindeer. And packages for this thing had been showing up daily for a week, including as late as this afternoon, and after all of this, people had better show up.

There were so many Christmas lights around the place that the apartment lights weren't even on, Summer's Jello shots were very much on display, and while there was mistletoe hanging from the ceiling, it wouldn't force you to kiss anyone. (No, no, that's the alcohol's job.) It was jolly as hell up in here, and honestly loud enough that even if you decided to skip the party you'd probably have some idea of how it went.

Also Tino showed up like ten minutes early and was just kind of hanging around.

Enjoy the night! Hopefully you wore something festive or you're gonna hear about it.

Summer would be totally disappointed if you didn't admire it first, Annie, but since you did, she was beaming brightly at the praise.

"Ohmygod," she then added, "please eat them. They are pretty now, but no one wants a day old jello shot."

Especially not when they'd been sitting under two spotlights.

"Especially tomorrow." Annie wasn't dumb enough to think she wouldn't be massively hungover tomorrow, along with everyone else. She just didn't grasp, yet, the depth of how much the idea of alcohol would make her want to hurl in the morning.

"Also, gotta say, I love the look," she added to Summer, gesturing expansively from Summer's head downwards. "So freaking cute."

Naturally, that called for Summer to do a little preening and modeling of that terrible sweater that she actually kind of really loved, finishing it off with a flip of her pontytail and a grin back at Annie.

"Please," she said. "You somehow managed to put our own decorations for this party to shame with that little ensemble." Which was saying a lot! "I fucking love it."

"I can't sit, but it's worth it," Annie told her, doing a proud little curtsy and then jingling her ears for good measure. "Is it really an ensemble if I purposely clashed every piece of it?"

"....yes," said Summer, after a moment to genuinely consider it. She even nodded firmly as if to prove her conviction. "If it's intentional, it's totally legit, it's, like, the whole point, right? Ironic Christmas haute couture."

"I really like how everyone delivered," Annie sighed happily, looking around. "Like, this is some seriously tacky Christmas sweater action. You think the threats worked?"

She was only half-joking. The glitter cannon had proven to be incredibly effective in getting people to put on Santa hats.

"In my experience?" Summer offered, also taking that moment to look around approvingly, with nods and especially impressed looks at the few people she wouldn't have expected to cave actually there with a sweater or a hat. "Threats almost always work. It helps when people know you're definitely going to follow through, too."
