MCA #1- Friday night, and probably later

This was really Annie and Summer's party, that just so happened to take place in Rey's stupidly giant apartment. Still, even while she'd been told a lot of people might be coming, Rey was a little concerned no one actually would, and then she'd have to figure out what to do with just... a ridiculous amount of alcohol and so many inflatable reindeer. And packages for this thing had been showing up daily for a week, including as late as this afternoon, and after all of this, people had better show up.

There were so many Christmas lights around the place that the apartment lights weren't even on, Summer's Jello shots were very much on display, and while there was mistletoe hanging from the ceiling, it wouldn't force you to kiss anyone. (No, no, that's the alcohol's job.) It was jolly as hell up in here, and honestly loud enough that even if you decided to skip the party you'd probably have some idea of how it went.

Also Tino showed up like ten minutes early and was just kind of hanging around.

There was no hidden meat in any of them! There was milk in some, but that was as weird as it got.

These were serious jello shots!

"Well," Summer offered, pointing them out, "this one's peppermint schnapps with creme, this one's strawberry, lime, and condensed milk with vodka, this one is gingerbread and vodka, and then we've got eggnog and bourbon, coconut vodka and blueberry, and the piece de resistance, the snow globs, are pretty much just champagne!"

She beamed proudly after the run-down.

"So what'll it be for you first, Stark?"

"A blue one," Stark said after considering his options. "To start."

He was going to end up trying them all since they all seemed safe and he might have some regrets later. Much later. Or maybe he would just have a really lovely evening!

Summer was so glad to hear that to start, and her grin expressed as much very easily.

"That's a great start," she said. "It's really good to see you made it, too, Stark. I see Annie got you with the gun, huh?"

Those guns were such a great idea!

"Incidental glitter," Stark clarified, picking up his blue star jello shot. "I may have been collateral damage. Haven't been shot directly. Yet."

Perhaps not the best thing to tell the woman armed with the other glitter cannon.

"Yet," Summer repeated, narrowing her eyes a little as if agreeing that Stark definitely just made a target out of himself with that little addendum, though she was grinning.

"There's probably going to be a lot of collateral damage at this party."

Especially considering there already was a lot...

The whole thing was, arguably, collateral damage.

If he put on one of the extra sweaters would he be less of a target? Or was it too late? It was probably too late.

Stark nodded. "Glitter carnage."

"Arguably," Summer noted, "the best kind of carnage."

Maybe he should get a sweater just in case.

"Probably." Stark nodded as he picked up one of the little gingerbread men and bit it in half. "There are definitely worse sorts."
