MCA #1- Friday night, and probably later
This was really Annie and Summer's party, that just so happened to take place in Rey's stupidly giant apartment. Still, even while she'd been told a lot of people might be coming, Rey was a little concerned no one actually would, and then she'd have to figure out what to do with just... a ridiculous amount of alcohol and so many inflatable reindeer. And packages for this thing had been showing up daily for a week, including as late as this afternoon, and after all of this, people had better show up.
There were so many Christmas lights around the place that the apartment lights weren't even on, Summer's Jello shots were very much on display, and while there was mistletoe hanging from the ceiling, it wouldn't force you to kiss anyone. (No, no, that's the alcohol's job.) It was jolly as hell up in here, and honestly loud enough that even if you decided to skip the party you'd probably have some idea of how it went.
Also Tino showed up like ten minutes early and was just kind of hanging around.
Enjoy the night! Hopefully you wore something festive or you're gonna hear about it.
[Open! Every single adult is definitely invited, crashers are invited to do their worst. Please wait for a dumb amount of OCD OCD UP GO PLAY.]

Re: Arrive/Mingle
Then she had to blink a few times to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Because here was the thing when you sort of grew up believing that everyone eventually left and, when they did, they stayed gone...
"Zards," she finally managed, "Seivarden? When in the world did you get back?"
Re: Arrive/Mingle
She smiled.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
And then she sort of thought about how exactly Seivarden had put that, and her brow furrowed a little.
"How long was it there?" she asked.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
She added: "How are you?"
Re: Arrive/Mingle
It was weird to see her, if she was honest. When you really did expect to never see someone again, it took a bit of adjustment when they just showed up again at a party.
"And I'm good!" she said. "Been a bit busy, nose to the grindstone on a couple of projects, you know how it is. But that's great news about your universe; after how long you were stuck here, that's got to be quite the release!"
Re: Arrive/Mingle
"Oh, it is. And I brought some things that you might be interested to have a look at. So, what projects?"
Re: Arrive/Mingle
But she had to admit, the rest of what she'd said had her...intrigued.
"...what kinds of things?"
Re: Arrive/Mingle
It was comforting that this still worked.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
"Just about how big are those ship engines, anyway?" she asked, after a moment to run her brain over the possibilities a little.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
At least she had learnt that since she left.
