MCA #1- Friday night, and probably later
This was really Annie and Summer's party, that just so happened to take place in Rey's stupidly giant apartment. Still, even while she'd been told a lot of people might be coming, Rey was a little concerned no one actually would, and then she'd have to figure out what to do with just... a ridiculous amount of alcohol and so many inflatable reindeer. And packages for this thing had been showing up daily for a week, including as late as this afternoon, and after all of this, people had better show up.
There were so many Christmas lights around the place that the apartment lights weren't even on, Summer's Jello shots were very much on display, and while there was mistletoe hanging from the ceiling, it wouldn't force you to kiss anyone. (No, no, that's the alcohol's job.) It was jolly as hell up in here, and honestly loud enough that even if you decided to skip the party you'd probably have some idea of how it went.
Also Tino showed up like ten minutes early and was just kind of hanging around.
Enjoy the night! Hopefully you wore something festive or you're gonna hear about it.
[Open! Every single adult is definitely invited, crashers are invited to do their worst. Please wait for a dumb amount of OCD OCD UP GO PLAY.]

Re: Arrive/Mingle
... Okay, frowning more than usual.
"Regardless, you do know you're not actually supposed to be here, right?" He knew she knew. He also knew that at least part of the reason she was here to begin with was more or less to prove that she could.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
But also to get pictures of everyone in their festive wear.
"I mean, like, I sort of expected them to throw me out," she admitted. "This is a bit puzzling........."
Re: Arrive/Mingle
And Rey and Summer weren't actually that far removed from being part of Nina's peer group.
"Finish taking your pictures," he said, with a nod to the camera. "And then I think you should head back to the dorms."
Was... was he Dad-ing right? He had no idea.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
"Daaaaaaaaaad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Unfair!
Re: Arrive/Mingle
Re: Arrive/Mingle
Because that would be creepy if anyone wanted to kiss her.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
He gave her a long, considering look.
"Don't drink too much," he settled on, finally. "And I'm walking you back to the dorms."
Yes, the chances of her running into something she couldn't handle even when there was an invasion were statistically pretty low, but that wasn't the point.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
And just for that she wouldn’t participate in the I Never.
She was going to decorate a cookie though. Which would mean a second shot, since she’d already had one but, as a spy, she knew her alcohol tolerance very well. She’d be cheery and chatty and happy on the walk home—-but she wouldn’t be anywhere close to tipsy, let alone drunk.
And she liked water better anyway.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
"I try," he said, and really... being the Cool Dad was kind of easy. The real test would come if and when Nina did something he genuinely didn't approve of, because then he'd have to figure out how to express something like disappointment and frustration without it setting off that spiral of uncertainty in her about the permanence of this whole family thing.
