Anoat- Friday sometime after classes

It was a lovely day on this… uh, planet covered in actual trash. Honestly, it wasn't so bad. Sure, you needed a rebreather to go outside due to the toxic air, which was good because it also kept you from smelling all the literal garbage covering the ground's surface. Somewhere under all that trash was also a monstrous pit beast that could eat you whole, but it probably wouldn't make an appearance today. (Probably.)

But for the most part, they had more pressing things to worry about. There was a series of giant interconnected domed tents which served as the Resistance base. There was war room, filled with massive screens and equipment most of you probably didn't know how to work, where the power had largely been cut to most of it to dismantle them for travel. There was storage for things like supplies, food and weaponry. A few people had living quarters here, and there was a decent kitchen for that sort of setup.

And all of that had to be packed up and moved onto either the Falcon of the other transport ship. ASAP. By the few Resistance members working here, and the lovely volunteers from Fandom.

Silver smiled. He had been sort of expecting this. The last time he had been around BB-8 and Chewie so there was a language barrier there.

"Yes, I am," he said. "Suddenly I'm nervous."

"No, no, I've heard nothing but good things!" she assured him. "And space gets easier the more you do it."

"So I've heard," he said, chuckling. "I think I'm doing a lot better this time around. No long afraid of getting nauseous."

"Good! I was the same way when I left home," Rose told him. "And now it's totally not a big deal to fly against cliff faces and through asteroid fields with TIEs chasing us."

"Okay, I don't want to become that comfortable with space." He generally wasn't a fan of any sort of danger. Which made him the odd man out in most of these situations.

"You're with Rey."

Aka, the person who was flying against cliff faces and through asteroid fields with TIEs chasing them.

"I'd prefer if she avoided those situations too," he said with a smile. "Which I know is futile."

"Oh yeah, no," Rose smiled. "Especially since it keeps us from dying. I like that part a lot."

"I imagine you would," he said with a smile. "That's sort of everyone's priority, isn't it?"

"Depends on the day when you have Finn and Poe around," Rose said slowly.

Because they could be self-sacrificing dummies.

"I know a few people like that," he said. "I haven't met them yet. Heard a lot though."

"I'm kind of surprised, that group's pretty tight," Rose said. "But the guys are usually on missions these days."

"To be fair, this is only my second time in space," he said. "The last time I spent a lot of time with Chewie and BB-8."

The conversation had been limited, obviously.

"Pretty one-sided conversation there, huh?" Rose guessed.

"Very much so," Silver said with a laugh. "Rey assured me they were only saying good things."

Which might have been a lie but Silver was choosing to believe it.

"They did. And between you and me, Chewie's kind of a softie. BB-8's the tougher judge."

Chewie let Rey head off to go turn Kylo Ren back and spent several decades following Han around, he was pretty lax about things.

"You know, I had my suspicions that was the case," he said. "It's always the unassuming ones."

"Oh, he can be downright pushy. If he doesn't like you, zap."

To be fair, Rose had also done that to Finn upon first meeting.

"Oh god, I didn't know he did that," Silver said. "That's good to know."
