The Millennium Falcon- Saturday

While the general vibe of the last day on Anoat had been anxiety, today was relief. They'd gotten away safely, no evidence of their months on the planet left for the First Order to discover. Most of the Resistance members were on the other ship, though Chewie, Leia and Rose stayed on the Falcon. Rey had plotted their course through hyperspace and had put the ship on autopilot, and today was kind of a day to just chill out on a space ship.

There were things to do. There was a lounge area with a dejarik table if you wanted to learn a new game, and another with a mostly empty bar and a sound system that Rey had literally never touched. If you felt like geeking out over tech, someone might put you to work. No, you can't fly the ship. Yes, you can sit there. No, seriously, don't touch anything.

A porg landed right next to him, also peering over to look at the Falcon's schematics.

Barry gave the porg a small smile and pointed at the screen. "What do you think? I could try and give the energy a boost in efficiency but even I don't know how this shit is put together."

The porg didn't answer, but he did lean over to try and nibble a corner of the schematics.

Porgs gonna porg.

Barry chuckled and pulled out a bag of kale chips. He opened up the bag and offered it to the porg. "This might be slightly more edible."

But only slightly.

Did you want those back at all, Barry? Because after sniffing it, the porg now had his entire head in the bag.

Honestly the only reason he bought kale chips was to visit Summer.

He pulled out a second bag as the first one was being devoured and placed it on the table. "Have at it, buddy."

When the porg straightened up, naturally it had the bag on its head. The squawk from inside sounded very odd from in there.

“You’re fine,” Barry said gently pulling the bag off the porg’s head and then offering them the other bag. “Just don’t stuff yourself.”

Barry was this porg's favorite.

He had also created a monster who was going to start working on the second bag and then probably look for more kale chips.
