The Millennium Falcon- Saturday

While the general vibe of the last day on Anoat had been anxiety, today was relief. They'd gotten away safely, no evidence of their months on the planet left for the First Order to discover. Most of the Resistance members were on the other ship, though Chewie, Leia and Rose stayed on the Falcon. Rey had plotted their course through hyperspace and had put the ship on autopilot, and today was kind of a day to just chill out on a space ship.

There were things to do. There was a lounge area with a dejarik table if you wanted to learn a new game, and another with a mostly empty bar and a sound system that Rey had literally never touched. If you felt like geeking out over tech, someone might put you to work. No, you can't fly the ship. Yes, you can sit there. No, seriously, don't touch anything.

"You've got good people all around," Summer noted with a smile. "Definitely not anything we won't be able to handle, no matter what happens."

"Mostly I'm expecting us to handle a day of moving and stumbling over other people," Rey said with a little smile.

"I think that'll be manageable," Summer laughed a little. "Especially the stumbling over other people part, but that's not a bad thing, either. The more people, the more hands, and the faster we can get things done."

"Exactly. Especially when you consider how much we're bringing with us, and there will be more when others arrive. I might end up coming back here just to keep setting up."

That was only half a joke.

"Well, I mean," Summer allowed, "that shit takes time. It's not like you can just set up a whole base in the matter of a few hours or anything."

She said, as if (spoiler alert) sometime in the very near future, she wouldn't actually wind up setting up a whole advanced society in the range of about twenty-four hours or so, but that was, y'know, later.

"And you know I'm down if you do have to come back for another go," she added, maybe a little too eagerly.

"You would do that?" Rey asked, totally innocently. Really.

"Rey." Something about Summer's laugh, her smile, was a little bit sheepish, a little bit...something else, which she chased away with a roll of her eyes. "You know I love coming out here. Helping you guys..."

"You do seem like you're in your element doing this sort of thing," Rey smiled.
